Platform www.refugeejobs.ro, named Romanian Refugee Job Portal is created and administered by the non-governmental organization – Jesuit Refugee Service Romania (JRS Romania). It is an online recruitment platform that aims at integrating refugees on Romanian labor market. It is addressed to both persons who have been granted international protection in Romania and to employers who seek to hire new staff aiming at providing free access to its recruitment services for both parts. The platform was developed within the LINK-IT – Linking pre-departure and post-arrival support to facilitate the socio-economic integration for resettled refugees in the EU and is funded by the European Union through Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund.
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) govern the relationship between Jesuit Refugee Service Romania, a non-governmental organization, with its headquarters in Maior Ilie Opris Street, no. 54, Bucharest, Romania and the persons using the site www.refugeejobs.ro, named Romanian Refugee Job Portal, on computer, smart-phone or tablet.
By checking a certain box, the user:
-expressly agrees to comply with all clauses in this set of terms and conditions;
In order to ensure compliance with the terms of access and use of the Services, Users must check the terms and conditions of use at the time of registering and after that, implicitly, at each access to the Site.
Even if you omit to review the terms and conditions, but use www.refugeejobs.ro, we shall assume that you have accepted this set of Terms and Conditions (including any updates to them).
If you disagree with the provisions in this set of Terms and Conditions (including any updates to it), please do not use or, as the case may be, stop using the Site www.refugeejobs.ro.
The content and design of the Romanian Refugee Job Portal provided to you in any other way belong to JRS Romania and its collaborators and are protected by intellectual property law.
You may not use, reproduce, or permit anyone to use or reproduce the materials without the written permission of JRS Romania or its collaborators who own an intellectual property right over the Romanian Refugee Job Portal Platform’s content section. It is also forbidden to reproduce in any way, in whole or in part, the information contained in Candidates’ Profiles, in Companies’ Profiles without the prior written consent of JRS Romania.
The use of the platform’s contents is exclusively allowed for the purpose for which users have registered on the platform.
JRS Romania is registered as a personal data operator.
Any information provided by the candidates on the platform is private.
Profiles of the candidates are not identifiable by search engines on the Internet.
Only companies registered and validated by JRS Romania can view Profiles of the candidates on the platform.
Companies are not allowed to disclose any personal information that is available using the platform.
Profiles of candidates will be accessed only for the purpose of recruitment and selection of staff by the companies registered on the platform.
Candidate Users Log In
Romanian Refugee Job Portal is online recruitment platform for refugees or persons who have been granted subsidiary protection in Romania, but not limited to them.
Candidates can access the services offered by the Romanian Refugee Job Portal, by registering on the platform and creating a candidate user Profile. Registering on the platform allows candidates to complete their Profiles with relevant work experience and studies, to view and search for employment offers, to apply to jobs or save jobs, to receive alerts published by employer users.
Candidate users’ access to their candidate profiles is protected by a password. We recommend not to divulging this password to anyone. Romanian Refugee Job Portal shall never ask for candidate users’ Profile password in unsolicited messages or telephone calls. Furthermore, we recommend candidate users to exit their Profiles (log out/sign out) at the end of each session. Candidate users are responsible for keeping the confidentiality of their personal information and password used for the registration on the platform. These tips are intended to remove unauthorized people from accessing candidate users’ personal information.
When registering as candidates, the users are required to provide accurate, precise and complete personal information. If any changes occur after the first registration on the platform, the users will update their profiles accordingly.
The target users for registration as candidates on the platform Romanian Refugee Job Portal are refugees and persons who have been granted subsidiary protection in Romania, but anyone who has the right to work in Romania can create a Profile and use the platform for the purpose for which it was created.
People who are unsure if their legal situation allows or working in Romania have the option to require free legal advice provided by JRS Romania – Jesuit Refugee Service Romania.
After registering and completing their candidate Profiles, users may apply directly to job offers published on the platform. Also, the applicants may be contacted by companies registered on the platform which did not post any job offer, but viewed their candidate Profile. In this case, the users will receive an alert on the e-mail mentioning which company accessed their Profiles.
Employer Users Log In
Romanian Refugee Job Portal is a recruitment and selection tool that allows free access to a database of candidates composed of refugees and persons who have been granted subsidiary protection in Romania and who, according to the national legislation (Romanian Asylum Law, no. 122/2006), hold the right to work in Romania. However, candidate users’ registration on the platform is not prohibited, regardless of their legal status, the employer users being obliged to check the legislation when proceeding at hiring candidate users who registered on Romanian Refugee Job Portal.
When creating an employer Profile, the users are required to register with accurate, precise and complete data. If any changes occur after the first registration on the platform, the users will update their profiles accordingly.
People using the employer Profile on Romanian Refugee Job Portal must represent a company, either as its legal representative or the staff responsible for the recruitment and selection of personnel in the company.
Any legal entity holding a Tax Identification Code may create an Employer Profile.
Employer users’ access to their employer Profiles is protected by a password. We recommend not to divulging this password to anyone. Romanian Refugee Job Portal shall never ask for employer users’ Profile password in unsolicited messages or telephone calls. Furthermore, we recommend employer users to exit their Profiles (log out/sign out) at the end of each session. Employer users are responsible for keeping the confidentiality of their personal information and password used for the registration on the platform. These tips are intended to remove unauthorized people from accessing employer users’ personal information.
The company can use the platform either by publication of announcements of job offers or by searching candidate Profiles in the database of Romanian Refugee Job Portal. Only candidate users that checked “Allow search and listing” will have the Profiles visible for employer users.
Notices of job offers must be full, fair, ethical and non-discrimination and respect the legal rights of candidates. Disseminating advertisers or offers which are unethical, fraudulent or illegal are prohibited on the platform.
Posting a new job on the platform will be first checked by JRS Romania and if the offer fulfils the terms and conditions of the Romanian Refugee Job Portal, it will be published on the platform, becoming visible for candidate users.
The services provided by Romanian Refugee Job Portal are available to its users free of charge.
Romanian Refugee Job Portal reserves the right to further changes of its availability services policy.
Suspension of Access
Romanian Refugee Job Platform reserves the right to temporarily or permanently deactivate users Profiles or restrict users’ access on the platform, if the users violate the present Terms and Conditions, without providing justification, with or without prior notice.
Lack of Warranty and Disclaimer
While Romanian Refugee Job Portal strives to provide quality services and ensure the fairness of the data published on the platform, it cannot guaranty the correctness, completeness and actuality of the information presented in the candidate users’ Profiles or of the recruitment announcements posted by the employer users. To the extent that the applicable law allows, Romanian Refugee Job Portal shall not be held liable for:
-correctness, completeness, accuracy of the information provided by the candidate users in their Profiles or of the recruitment announcements posted by the employer users on the platform
-errors or delays of the platform content including technical errors on computer security
